While our premium line focuses on D2 steel, many enthusiasts ask: D2 steel vs 440C—which is right for me? If you’re working in wet, humid, or maritime environments, our 440-series and specialized stainless blends are the smarter choice. They offer superior rust resistance and are incredibly easy to field-sharpen, making them the perfect "no-stress" EDC companions.

The Entry-Level Workhorses (3Cr13 & SK5): These are your go-to blades for high-impact tasks and easy maintenance. They are tough, corrosion-resistant, and won't shy away from hard work.
The Precision Value Blades (8Cr13MoV & 8Cr14MoV): A step up in edge retention. These steels tweak the formula with added Vanadium and Molybdenum, giving you a noticeable boost in wear resistance for sustained cutting without the "premium" price tag.
