Warranty & Product Support

At Albatross, we believe a good tool should be something you can rely on over time.
Our warranty is designed to support that — in a straightforward and practical way.

Limited Warranty Coverage

Albatross products, including knives, multi-tools, and flashlights, are covered against defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Standard warranty period: 1 year from the date of purchase
  • Coverage applies under normal use conditions
 
If a product is found to be defective within this period, we will, at our discretion:
  • Provide replacement parts, or
  • Replace the product with a new one

What's Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover issues resulting from:
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or improper use
  • Product modifications or disassembly
  • Improper maintenance (including rust caused by lack of care)

After the 30-Day Return Period

After the 30-day return window has passed, warranty support is still available within the 1-year coverage period.

For warranty claims:
  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs
  • Please contact our support team to confirm part availability before proceeding
  • If applicable, you may place a shipping order through our website, and we will provide tracking information once dispatched

At this time, Albatross does not offer repair return services.
In many cases, purchasing a replacement or seeking a local repair option may be a faster and more cost-effective solution.

Warranty Exclusions (Detailed)

If your product is outside the 1-year warranty period:
  • You may still contact us for guidance
  • We can provide repair suggestions or help identify compatible replacement parts

Some accessories and replacement parts may be available for purchase directly on our website.
If the main structure of the product is damaged beyond repair, replacing the item is generally recommended.
For safety reasons, we do not recommend attempting repairs unless you have the proper experience.
Local hardware stores or professional repair services may be a safer option.

Support After Warranty Period

The following situations are not covered under warranty:

Coating Wear

Blade and handle coatings may wear over time through normal use.

Dishwasher Damage

Cleaning products in a dishwasher can damage materials. Please avoid machine washing.

Rust and Corrosion

Products should be kept clean and dry to prevent rust. Corrosion caused by improper care is not covered.

Disassembly

Taking apart the knife or tool will void the warranty.

Loss or Theft

Lost or stolen items are not covered under any circumstances, including natural or man-made incidents.
